Mercedes Benz 190SL, the 300SL’s Big Brother

Mercedes Benz 190SL is a roadster car with removable hardtop, produced in 1955-1963. The prototype model was first introduced at New York Auto Show in 1954. This car was launched to the market almost alongside with another roadster car from Mercedes Benz company named 300SL Roadster.

Both cars are identically same from the design, engineering, and suspension. They also have double wishbone suspension at the front side and swing axles at the rear. The contrast difference of those cars is in the engine. If 300SL is powered by six-cylinder engine, the 190SL goes with four-cylinder engine and twin carburettor version of the standard 1.9-litre which produces 105bhp.

The design of this car is very classics with European style. The chrome looks 190SL makes this car perfectly elegant. The car comes with removable hard-top which allow you to feel different nuance when you use or not using it. Overall, it almost looks like 300SL but 190SL only comes with hard-top which is a little bit tricky, and also the size is smaller than 300SL. The luggage space is very large and it’s very good to put your stuffs inside of it. The dimension of 190SL is 4.290 mm length, 1.740 mm width, and 1320 mm height with 1.158 kg curb weight.

The improvement of 190SL kept going on and on until 1963. Some modifications like chrome trim lines on the upper side of the doors and large tail lights are applied in 1956 model. In 1957 the bumper overrides is attached to all models for US version and in 1959 a new hardtop with wider rear windows is complemented for the coupe version.

The interior of this car is like the other roadster car model from Mercedes Benz. Super Most Wanted Car Maserati MC12 Limited Edition

Do you know a slogan’s automobile manufacture “Luxury, sport and style cast in exclusive cars”? This famous company is from Italy. It’s called Maserati. Maserati was firstly founded in Bologna city that was only produced luxury vechile. About 15,700 units was ever produced until 2013 with 1100 employees world wide.

Now, I'll tell you one of the best car from Maserati that was launched in 2005. This super car was limited edition. Only 75 cars was built and about 25 cars was produced as racing car version to exsit in some competitions. 50 cars were available for customers. It’s called Maserati MC12, or MC12 GT as a racing model. The production started from 2004 to 2005. The design is really sporty like a racing car of formula one. It’s quite appropriate for you who want to have a huge performance car with its racing car design.

Maserati was designed and built this car based on the chassis of the Enzo Ferrari but the final car is much larger and has a lower drag coefficient. The super car MC12 is longer, wider and taller and has a sharper nose and smoother curves than the Enzo Ferrari. Although the Enzo Ferrari was a lil bit faster of acceleration. The MC12 has also faster acceleration, better braking performance (shorter braking distance) and a higher top speed. It will save you from any accident with its better braking that works so welll. The top speed of the Maserati MC12 is 330 kilometers per hour (205 mph) whereas the top speed of the Enzo Ferrari is 350 kilometres per hour (217.5 mph). That was just a lil bit different of acceleration but Enzo Ferrari was designed as racing car.

The road version was produced to homologate the race version. One requirement for participation in the FIA GT is the production of at least 25 road cars. Three GT1 race cars were entered into the FIA GT with great success. Maserati began racing the MC12 in the FIA GT toward the end of the 2004 season, winning the race held at the Zhuhai International Circuit. It’s such a proud achievement for Maserati.

The luxury MC12 sports a 232 kilogram (511 lb), six-litre (5,998 cc/366 cu in) Enzo Ferrari V12 engine was mounted at 65°. Each cylinder has four valves, lubricated via a dry sump system, and a compression ratio of 11.2:1. These engines combine to provide a maximum torque of 652 newton metres (481 lbf•ft) at 5500 rpm and a maximum power of 630 PS (460 kW; 620 hp) at 7500 rpm. The redline rpm is indicated at 7500, despite being safe up to 7700 rpm whereas the Enzo has its redline at 8200 rpm.

The Maserati MC12 can accelerate from 0–100 kilometres per hour (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds (though Motor Trend Magazine managed 3.7 seconds) and on to 200 kilometres per hour (125 mph) in 9.9 seconds. It can complete a standing (from stationary) quarter mile in 11.3 seconds with a terminal speed of 200 kilometres per hour (125 mph) or a standing kilometre in 20.1 seconds. The maximum speed of the Maserati MC12 is 330 kilometres per hour (205 mph).

The power is fed to the wheels through a rear-mounted, six-speed semi-automatic transmission. The gearbox is the same as the Enzo's transmission (tuned to different gear ratios) but renamed "Maserati Cambiocorsa". It provides a shift time of just 150 milliseconds, and is mechanical with a 215 millimetre (8.5 in) twin plate dry clutch.

The Maserati MC12 came into being as a potential FIA GT racer while the company was still under the ownership of Ferrari. The model was first debuted at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, the vechile was sold out even before it was officilally launched.

The Maserati MC12’s interior was orginally developed to be a trck racer but the model comes that is fitted by all the creature comforts of a luxury passanger vechile. Keeping with the limited edition theme of the model. The MC12’’s cabin comes laden with Brightex, a mixture of silver, blue leather and carbon fiber with gel coating which the fashion industry dubbed too expensive as a material. The model lacks of factory fitted a sterro audio sytem and radio. The blue ignition button and the oval analogue clock that is characteristic of Maserati sits proudly on the centre console. The MC12 comes ready for the track and the road and features diffusers on the rear bumper and a smooth underside. The top of the cabin features air scoops that sucked air into the engine compartment. This car was priced at about $1,100,000 and it was sold out rapidly before it was launched officially. This car was really welcomed by Maserati lovers.

Money can mean everything, everything can be bought including buy the desired item. As performed by a wealthy British man who has purchased two super cars in one day. Extraordinary!

Paul Bailey buy LaFerrari and 918 Spyder in a day

Reported by autoevolution, Wednesday (25/02/2015) rich man named Paul Bailey was going to use his McLaren P1 together with his beloved wife to the Ferrari dealership in Nottingham.

In that place he bought a Ferrari hypercar LaFerarri and allow his wife to take over the wheel at McLaren P1 and he drove home LaFerrari.

Not only that, the next surprise he took his wife to a Porsche dealership a distance of 100 miles. Up there, the wife returned surprised because he bought a Porsche hypercar, 918 Spyder and immediately take it home.

Both may be the happiest couple because in one day managed to buy two super cars, as well.

Reportedly, he has a wealth of business sale proceeds telephone conference which reached 28 million pounds. Extraordinary !!

Lamborghini Huracan Supercar Review

Do you prepare for buying a new luxury car model this year? I will review one of the best luxury car from well-known automaker, Italy. This manufacture is Lamborghini Automobili S.P.a. Recently, Lamborghini is launched new car model of 2015 year. The production starts in the end of 2014. This car is called Lamborghini Huracan.

The Lamborghini Huracán is a sports car built by Lamborghini that replaces Lamborghini's sales leader and most produced car, the Gallardo. As we know that the production of the legend Lamborghini Gallardo will be ended in 2014. The Huracán made its auto show debut at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show, and it is scheduled to be released in the second quarter of 2014 as the new 2015 model version.

This super car is assembled in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy and having two door coupe and two door roadster as its body style that is designed by Filippo Perini (the famous designer of automobile). The history of Huracán's name (huracán being the Spanish word for hurricane) is inspired by a Spanish fighting bull, similar to various other Lamborghini car models. Huracán was a bull known for its courage that fought in 1879. Also Huracán is the Mayan god of wind, storm and fire in Spain.

There are some improvements from Gallardo included full LED illumination, a 12.3 inch full-color TFT instrument panel, Fine Nappa leather and Alcantara interior upholstery, redesigned design of dashboard and central tunnel, Iniezione Diretta Stratificata (IDS) direct and indirect gasoline injections, engine Stop & Start technology, EU6 emissions regulation compliance, Lamborghini Doppia Frizione (LDF) 7-speed dual clutch transmission with 3 modes (STRADA, SPORT and CORSA), 20 inch wheels, carbon-ceramic brake system, optional Lamborghini Dynamic Steering variable steering system and MagneRide electromagnetic damper control.

The Huracán features various interior options for more comfort inside the car. It features choice for full electric control and heating of the sport seats in addition to the standard lengthwise alignment and electric backrest. The car also has an optional navigation system and leather upholstering.

Various aspects of the Huracan are technologically advanced. The car has full LED lighting, which ensures higher contrast in night conditions. Also, the Huracan has optional "Lamborghini Dynamic Steering" to add to the standard power steering. The Dynamic Steering changes the steering performance from normal, comfortable steering to a racing feeling. The main control for changing the car's performance according to driving conditions is the mode selector. The driver can select street, sport, or race mode to alter how systems like the engine or transmission respond while driving. Depending on what mode is selected, even engine sound is different.

The vehicle was unveiled in 2014 Geneva Motor Show, with deliveries set to begin in spring 2014. The Huracan will be comparable to the McLaren MP4-12C and the Ferrari 458. The price of the Huracan with extra options added is expected to be over $340,000. The cheapest Huracan will cost around £300,000. Extra options that increase the price of the car include interior enhancements, special paint schemes, improved suspension, and a lifting system.

The Huracán maintains the 5.2 L naturally aspirated V10 engine from the Gallardo, tuned for 610 PS (449 kW; 602 hp). To ensure its balance and performance, the car is mid-engined. The V10 has both direct fuel injection and multi-point fuel injection. It combines the benefits of both of these systems; it is the first time this combination is used in a V10. To increase its efficiency the Huracán's engine also includes a start-stop system. The Huracán's top speed is over 325 km/h (202 mph). It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.9 seconds. With a dry weight of 1,422 kg (3,135 lb), the Huracán has a power-to-weight ratio of 2.36 kg (5.20 lb) per horsepower. The Huracán has electronically controlled all-wheel drive, which aims to increase the traction on various surfaces and the overall performance of the car. Well, are you ready for Lamborghini Huracan? In January 2009, the 722 S version was launched to the market and only built not more than 150 units. It brings the improved engine that is able to reach 62 mph in 3.6 seconds that is 0.2 seconds faster than the regular version.

The Glorious of Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Roadster

SLS AMG is developed by Mercedes-AMG, the independent engineer and manufacturer of Mercedes Benz AMG automobiles. This is the first model that constructed in-house by the AMG.

Honda S600: The Greatest Classic and Luxury Honda Roadster

Now, let’s move to the Honda S600. After releasing Honda S500 roadster and its production had finished in 1963. Honda would have planned to make new series called Honda S600. We will get new alteration in this car. It was launched in March 1964 and available as a roadster – a lil bit resemble to the Honda S500 - and as a coupe was introduced in March 1965 and It was quite cheaper than roadster. During its production was up to 1966, the model and style were still pretty much the same as S500 with the most significant changes and improvement to the front grille, bumper, and headlamps.

The second roadster from Honda is powered by a DOHC, water-cooled, four-cylinder inline engine with four carburetors, the engine capacity was increased to 606 cc from the S500's 531 cc. This engine produced up to 57 hp (43 kW) at 8500 rpm and had a top speed of 90 mph (140 km / h). The suspension was independent to be sealed with roller chain drive to each rear wheel. We can be convinced with its performance of this car. Dont worry, we will not be disappointed.

The S600 1964-1996 was the first huge market and production from Honda car. Honda was trully confident to reach market in the world. First offered only in right-hand drive, after that, it soon became available in left-hand drive to get the export market. Different with S500 there are a few production of S500s manufactured in left-hand drive only. Both the S600 roadster and coupé were available in standard trim and a special, improved package, such as special paint colors. There was some variance color of this car such as black, white, red, yellow, blue. Then, an exclusive badging, a standard radio and speaker, we can enjoy driving car then turn on the radio and choose the favorite program easily. A special antenna in the passenger side sun visor, standard reversing lights, a standard cigarette lighter, a standard heater, better cushioned seats, and a detachable seat for quick removal of the passenger seat. All this features were made so innovative, it will make the driver easy, weary, not wasting much energy and we will focus to drive along the trip. What a great car!

Then, next to the dimension, it had dimensions wheelbase 2000 mm, length 3,300, widht 1,400, height 1,200, curb weight 715 kg. 3912 Honda roadsters S600 produced in 1964, and 1519 coupe in 1965. Then, the productions of these cars was decreased in 1966 (when they prepared to make S800) with only 111 roadsters and 281 coupes. The price as its roadster is about $12,000. Then, Honda released new variance named Honda S800.
